Integrate artificial intelligence into your management software
Integrating AI into your pharmacy management software does not mean building it yourself. Your pharmacy customers have started asking for artificial intelligence. You can connect to a provider that has already built it while remaining the pharmacist’s main point of contact.
Four practical reasons
Meet a demand you are already receiving
In pharmacies, artificial intelligence has quickly gone from a curiosity to a factor in choosing management software. Providers without it are asked about it in every sales discussion.
You do not need to build a forecasting model
Building a working model requires data, specialist expertise and ongoing work: models need retraining, measurement and correction. That is what we do, every day.
The pharmacist remains your customer
We do not have management software and do not intend to build it. Forecasts appear in your screens, with your design, within workflows your users already know. The pharmacist does not need an account with us or to install anything.
One integration, three products.
One connection serves the entire suite: purchase forecasting, price list extraction and inventory monitoring, and accounting reconciliation. The second and third products cost a fraction of the first.
What do we offer your pharmacies?
- Ordine Smart: sales forecasts and order proposals for supplier orders and daily replenishment, with commercial target management and optimisation across locations.
- FarmAgente: automatic extraction of supplier price lists, prioritisation of suppliers to order from, and inventory balancing across your network.
- Riconcil.IA: reconciliation of bank transactions, payment deadlines and invoices, and of delivery notes and invoices.
A cloud service without a separate interface
Our system exposes services that your management software calls, returning results that it can display as you prefer: in the position you choose, with your labels. Traffic flows exclusively between your systems and ours.
In most cases, you call us: you send the data and receive the forecast or proposal.
In some cases, we need something from you. Sometimes it is a check — for example, confirming that a medicine code exists in your database. Sometimes it is an operational instruction that your software must execute — for example, the date when an order should actually be sent to a supplier. There are few such cases, but they must be considered when planning the integration: you also need to expose some services.
SERVICE MODES
You choose how much control to offer!
PRE-CALCULATED MODE
More economical and very fast
Calculations run in scheduled windows, typically overnight at the start of the month, outside working hours. Forecasts are ready and can be retrieved instantly when the user requests them.
This is the most economical mode, with no perceived waiting time. The calculation window can be agreed.
ON-DEMAND MODE
For maximum flexibility
Calculation starts when the user requests it through the management software. Results arrive within a few minutes, for the coverage requested at that moment.
This is useful when the user needs detailed control outside scheduled cycles.
What you send us — and what you do not
For each pharmacy and medicine, we need only a few data points: an anonymous pharmacy code, the medicine code, historical sales, selling and purchase prices, and stock on hand.
We need at least around thirty months of history for each medicine. Below that threshold, the model does not have enough signal to recognise seasonality, which is particularly important for medicines.
We do not need or want patient data: no names, prescriptions or health information. To us, a pharmacy is an anonymous code.
What does this mean in practice?
- Send pharmacies’ sales history through periodic uploads
- Call the service when the user prepares an order
- Display the proposal in your screens and collect the user’s approval
Start integration with a small step
You do not need to integrate everything immediately, and we advise against trying. The first useful step is a single function — usually supplier order proposals — that brings the clearest benefit to the pharmacist and lets you see the return before investing more time. You can add the rest when you choose.
How do we get started?
- Step one: a technical call. We show you how it works and identify the best starting function together, based on your software architecture.
- Step two: documentation and a test environment. You receive full specifications and an environment for testing without using live data.
- Step three: integration of the first function. A dedicated technical contact supports you throughout the work.
- Step four: pilot. Activate it for a small group of pharmacies, review performance and make adjustments.
- Step five: pilot. Release it, then decide what to add next.
Want to see whether it makes sense for your software?
A half-hour technical call is enough to understand where we would start and what it would cost. If it does not make sense, we will tell you.
